DISKONAUT noun

: A person who voyages to and explores the lands inside the ARK; a multi-generational world ship of unknown age and origin.

Set in an alternate timeline, the game DISKONAUT revolves around a mission to explore the ARK, a mysterious generation ship that is slowly drifting towards Earth. Brave men and women must board the Argo and journey, unsure of what will happen at any stage of the multi-year journey.

The game uses a funny little mechanic I brainstormed a while back; a single d10 roll followed by a coin flip, with both results added together. The gimmick, you ask? Tails equals +0 and Heads equals +10, producing a range from 1-20 with the same odds as a d20 roll!

Full disclosure, the game is playable but incomplete; consisting only of lore, character creation, and a basic explanation of the mechanics. I wrote it for the May 2026 Eternal TTRPG Jam and had plans to create a companion adventure for the 2026 Sci-Fi One-Shot Jam, which was running at the same time. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to finish both projects. However, I didn't want my work to go to waste and figured someone might enjoy it or get inspired by it, so here it is! I plan to update it down the road (if I don't get distracted by other projects first).
